Quick Draw Histories

Doodle your way through time with Quick Draw Histories, the epic video course mixing drawing skills and historical knowledge!  Each video will focus on a different era or aspect of history. While talking you through drawing tutorials, worksheets and challenges, we’ll throw in fun facts about the period of history we’re drawing. 

The running order of the first 6 themes: Stone Age, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Romans, The Age of Arthur, Vikings. 

Quick Draw Histories aims to provide an immersive experience, presenting children with a rich tapestry of historical knowledge and imagery while boosting their artistic confidence.    

The lessons are perfect for children between 7 and 11 years old, though all are welcome.    

The course costs £36 per household and includes:    

Access to the first 6 Quick Draw Histories videos.  

Videos will be released every Sunday morning from November 7th, accessed through a private link, and you can watch them whenever you like (no deadline). If you join a few weeks in, you will immediately get access to videos released so far. The videos will each last approximately 30 minutes.    

Access to the Quick Draw Histories Google Classroom.  

Here you can download worksheets and share photos or scans of your child's work. Any work posted will receive encouraging written feedback and young artists will be invited to feature on the gallery page of the Quick Draw Stories website.
